How do I get AFX for TGEA at the upgrade discount?

The auto-purchasing process in the GarageGames store is currently unable to check the duel prerequisites required by the AFX upgrade. (You need to own AFX for TGE *and* a TGEA engine license to qualify.) As an interim solution, Derek and Eric at GG are doing the checks by hand and then issuing promo-codes. Follow these instructions from Derek, quoted from another thread.

Sorry for the inconvenience everyone, our website has an issue with dual dependencies but we still want to make upgrades possible for those of you with TGEA and the TGE version of the AFX kit. Unfortunately, there is no easy way of doing this at the moment so those of you who qualify for the upgrade and want to purchase it you can email either myself at derekb at garagegames.com or Eric at ericf at garagegames.com. Sorry again for all the hassle, we are currently looking into a more elegant solution.

With GarageGames updated website, qualifying users no longer need to use promo codes to buy AFX for TGEA at the discounted price.

Assuming you are logged into the GarageGames website with an account that lists AFX for TGE as one of your products, then any price listed for an AFX for TGEA product will already be at the discounted price.

Admittedly, this can be confusing because there is no indication that the listed price is at a discount.

At the time this post was made, the upgrade prices are as follows:

- upgrade from AFX ComboPack for TGE to AFX ComboPack for TGEA -- $45
- upgrade from AFX CoreTech for TGE to AFX CoreTech for TGEA -- $45
