What are the dmp.dmp and player.max? What do they do or what are they for?

You can ignore both files (or delete them if you'd like). They don't need to be included with any release.

Player.max is the 3DS Max version of the player shape (player.dts). I imagine it's included so those that have 3DS Max can use it as a reference when making their own player models. Dmp.dmp is simply a log file that the DTS exporter spits out letting you know what was exported. You can ignore both files (or delete them if you'd like). They don't need to be included with any release.

Ohhhh I see now... ive been looking for a "base" character model to go as a reference off of for TGEA and I was getting pretty pissed that theres .max files for the weapons and stuff but nothing for characters... Now I see, its in TGE! damn this thread saved me alot of research.HINT HINT GG!!
