I fell again, and cannot get up

Hiya Team,
Well, I moved from CA to AZ - updated my machine and re-purchased a license for Orbz2.. I lost my previous license - but that's my bad.. anyway, I am back sorta where I was before - I cannot validate my License key via the internet, cuz it says it cannot find the internet thru my wireless (Airport Extreme) - and I forgot where I am supposed to put that dagonne ignition file so it will work with a Mac. Seems I received an email telling me where it needed to go, but like that was back in 05... and that mail is long gone..
And the webbie page for registering an offline Mac was never updated (like SOMEONE said it would be! ahem!)
Can I get sum synaptic refreshes here from someone?
Thankya..

I have done all that, and the ignition file is placed "in the product folder" and still not recognized. This is NOT my first time at this rodeo.. I have the current ignition file - I have mac os X - you have my $20.00 - Now where does the danged ignition file go where ORBZ 2 is gonna be looking for it?
Thanks -

I don't have my G5 hooked up, but I believe if you navigate into your APP archive, it goes into the root. I think that's where it goes. It has been about a year and a half since I did it.

I must have about 6 ignitions copied to various directories... And still it asks me to try and validate online - which fails not being able to locate a server. It's in root, it's in applications, it's in the game directory, it's in the Library, so I have it about everywhere EXCEPT where ORBZ2 is looking for it. BTW - I am running Leopard - and it seems to be singularly unaffected by this version - I got music - I got graffix - I just can't play cuz it says my time is used up!
Someone please - just tell me WHERE ORBZ2 looks for the valid "ignition" file so I can place one there. SOmeone wrote the danged game - and they should know where they put it.. Is it some big secret? If it is, then just email me.. I promise not to reverse-engineer the danged thing - I just wanna play it.
Thanks!

Not in applications, but inside of the app. CTRL-Click the app, and navigate into it. Then place the ignition key in the main directory, I believe. I had issues with TubeTwist back in the day and don't remember where it was located. So I'm trying to get you there in my limited memory of it.

When you say "inside the app" - do you mean that it should go in the same directory as the executable? In "root/orbz2/some_path"?
I am using Mac OS X - and I am a unix admin.. I work in command line 2nd nature... Please explain what U mean by "inside the app" as there are many directories below /root/Orbz2.1
Thx...

APP files are packages. If you CTRL-Click them (or Right-Click since I use a scroll mouse), you should be able to navigate inside of them like zip files. The application data, icons, etc are located in there. I think that's where the ignition key was stored as well, but it has been a long time and I can't find my convertor cable for my G5. Perhaps after my fiance and I clean today I'll find it. I need to do some serious updates on it.

Well, I started at /root/Orbz 2.1/ and put that ignition file in each and every directory with permissions 644 and my login owns it... Still - a no go..
I had Orbz back when I had my first Mac machine which was an early iMac running Panther, then when I got my Mac Laptop, I migrated all my files there, THEN I got a new iMac (got rid of my laptop), and once again I migrated the entire system to here.
Now, since I have not had Orbz since my very first machine back in 2003 when I bought my first license after USING UP ALL THE FREE PLAY - I have managed to migrate whatever marker file says I have no free time left, because when I downloaded (again) this Orbz 2.1 last week, and (re-)purchased a new license, I never got any free play at all because it said I have no free play left.. What's up with that!
Ah well.. I just want this to work.. I have now spent a total of $40.00 ($20 in 2003 + now) and no game.. I am a patient person - I just need some "information" on where to go from here...
** Please see my exchange in this forum with Justin Mette back in November 2003 in "2" page of this forum titled "I've Fallen and I can't get up"... This was when I had the original issue with making Orbz work.. That was my first original license purchase..
Thanks...

I haven't had a chance to get my Mac up and running to try it myself to see what steps I took with MBG and TubeTwist. Sorry. Hopefully I'll get a chance!

Thanks for your effort - No need to apologize.. I had some "Honeydo's" like hanging a swag chandelier in my dining room and finally getting around to lubricating my automatic garage door track, wheels and hinge hardware.. Yeeesh!
Talk to you soon!
