2.0 is not currently supported in the beta.

I just purchased and installed the starter kit on a fresh install of visual studio express 2005 C#and XNA 2.0.

I can't open the platformer templates...

    Project Template Wizard

A problem was encoutered creating the sub project 'Game'. The project file 'c:\windows\temp\t4xtaeya.wva\Temp\Game.csproj' cannot be opened.

The project type is not supported by this installation.

Guess I will have to downgrade from XNA 2.0.

You will need to install the XNA 1.1 Refresh version to work with TorqueX.

    David,

I'm also new and am getting the same error. What I would like to do is get the Platformer starter demo up and running and then cross it over to my 360. It seems that I cannot open it with XNA...3 real questions I guess

-Can I install the 1.1 refresh while XNA 2.0 is installed, or do I need to go fresh with everything ?

-To debug on the XB360, do I need to open it in XNA Game Studio or Torque X ?

-A link to the best startup tutorials for cross development between Torque X and the 360 ?

Thanks in advance...just a noob with a team of artists looking to get our game on....
