Hi TGEA-Guys,
I am Bala from India.
I need a help regarding the TGEA - FPS Dropping.
1Gb Ram
Nvidia Quadro FX3450/4000 SDI
Xeon(TM)CPU 3.00GHz
This much sys configuration we are using to play the game. Then also Fps dropping somuch in our sys. IF Any body knows that please share with us.
We use max models and did the lighting with Constructor then we exported as a diff
(Max light map size -256
Lighting performance- Speed over quality
Shadow performance-quality over Speed)
In that we used just four
SG Torque Lights only. There is no FX and no complexity stuff.
We got the FPS like 10 11,12,14,17,20,.......40 (above 45 is very rare things)
Thanks
Bala

On a 2Ghz Centrino w/ GF6800 ultra I have about 30 DIFs with 3-4 lights in them on my screen and am getting about 60fps. Even while actively recalculating their lightmaps in the background I rarely drop below 30fps.
Good luck finding the cause of the problem.

DIF lightmap lighting is all pre-calculated. There should be next to no overhead while in game. I would tend to suspect there is something wrong with the collision mesh and/or your DIF's portals.
