Does anyone have the realm wars source code? Or know where I can get it?

Problem is that no one except for GG can host the code to game and its engine, just a build of the game with some scriptable (CS) files that you can modify to do some interesting things. Scripting can take you far, but only so far.

Yeah I'm also interested in the RW source code. Doesn't GG have an svn server?

I have the source from March 13th, 2003 and a couple others after or before that I think. That's old guys, TGE wasn't as polished back then. What is it that you are looking for in the code? Most of what's in Realmwars has since been redone in newer resources.

Trenton if you still have the Realmwars code, can you possible send that sword trail code or maybe just the engine source and notable weapons related codes? Thank you or Zip everything in the engine/client/server ( i dont need the exe or data as that i have. ) Thanks again if thats possible.

I just checked the 2nd link, password works fine. If you have not, try copying and pasting and watch out for extra spaces.

@Trenton, thanks for posting this. I tried to use the texture option of the dglDrawArcFill but it looks like it doesn't map the texture correctly. What I get is the texture is upside down and aligned to the left and slightly down. I have been looking at how to correct it but no luck so far. Do you or any one else have any ideas how to fix this? Any and all help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I was wondering one day, if it would be possible to see the tge 1.0 code? (ie the tribes code-base legacy)
It would be 'fun' to compare and maybe learn something from it!
I do not know if this is possible, but could somebody (gg staff maybe?) inform me if there is a possibility to to optain the old code-bases, ie older then when one jumped on the bandwagon, now that there is no cvs anymore.

I don't believe they can release the tribes code because of third-party licensing agreements.

I do understand that the tribes code is out of the question due to legal 'things'.
I'm interested in the A.I. field and would like to 'examinate' some more ai code. For exampel both the sdk for fear and the sdk hl2 has some intresting code in it.
I have read in some old forum posts that TGE 1.0 still have some AI code in it. As an old tribes/tribes2 fan i would be nice to examine why i lost so many games against the bots...:-) So, im just asking as a owner of both tge and tgea if it would be possible to get older versions of tge than the purched one.
