Student Internship

Hello everyone. I am a second year at Oxford studying computer science. I want to go into computers games when I graduate, and to that end I am looking for an internship this summer. Does anyone know any studios (probably brittish based to avoid problems with visa's, and the expensive of travel) that have a good intership scheme? Any help will be great, thanks in advanced.

I'd recommend contacting Phil Carlisle. He teaches in the UK and would probably know a number of studios with internship programs.

I already have and am awaiting a reply, though he did mention in a brief email back that he knows of studios that do take interns but it's more a case of they will hire some when they need them, rather then there being an actual program. I thought I would ask on the forums incase anyone else knew.

Last Straw Productions is looking for programmer interns currently. You can email me at jonathon@last-straw-games.com if you are interested. We have remote internship programs and work with local dev schools and so have worked with school internship programs in the past.
