Constructor yet again sucks a day from my life

Well this is it for me. Constructor is going off the system. Its a big fat steaming pile of...... (I think you know). I should have really done this a LONG time ago. It never worked right. Just when you get past something there is a whole new craptastic bug that KILLS the enjoyable experiance I used to have when building models. Really now. How in the crud are you going to export models with NO COLLISION AT ALL. OVER AND OVER AND OVER. But not all the time. NOOOO. No it would not do that long enough for me to nail down some kind of pattern to track down a bug or find a flaw in my model building....... Oh yeah....missing faces.....WTF IS THAT? I WISH I had a disk for it so I could SMASH it with a ball peen hammer. Another day WASTED working with this poor excuse for software.
I'VE HAD IT!
I'M LEAVING!
GOODBYE CONSTRUCTOR!
And no you cant have my stuff.
Thank God for 3D World Studio.

All of the problems are preventable though. It's mostly just people overlapping their faces, so things get all screwy.
Give it another chance, just be careful when you model with it.

I use Radiant for most of my brush work (simply because out of all the programs I know, I've used Radiant for.. years), but I also use Constructor to finish off levels and for items such as portals. It serves it's purpose and regardless if it has glitches or not, without Matt's hard work (and others) things would be more difficult.

I personally have a love hate relationship with constructor, though the patch that David linked to has truly went a long way to fixing the major issues I was having (Thanks again Matt!) Thanks for the positive responses guys. Now that I have broken a few things and watched some TV I am a little more calm. I spent the last couple hours doing all the things with prefabs that I could not get to work with Constructor. I think that I am going to stick with 3DWS for now. Constructor needs entirely too much work to be a productive option at this point. Thanks again for the great feedback. If it were not for GG's community there would be no GG's.

Use the tools that work best for you, though. I've had great luck with Constructor (other than the collisions, but the patch fixed that). 3DWS is nice, too. As is WED and Radiant and Quark. But I still prefer Constructor for most things. I do love WED's grouping and drilling down to groups, though.
