This is probably something that's been answerd before, so I appologize in advance. The free version of Torque X includes a Trial version of TXB. Does Torque X Pro product include a full version TXB? Anyone, anyone?

I do not believe so, but then I already had a license *before* I purchased pro. From the pricing, I would guess not, though.

It includes the trial (30 days) not the full version.

So, do any of you more exprerienced TorqueX users beleive TXB is an must have addition to Torque X Pro? Is it easy to live without? The ability to graphically design scenes seems pretty nifty to me.

It is great for visual development for creating levels and such that you would have to code by hand otherwise. It makes things much nicer. While you could code it all out, it would be very tedious to do it. My recommendation is to take a week and use the editor. And then take a week without using it and do the exact same small project. Then you will see the workflow benefits.

That doesn't say that it is included, just that it is compatible. Since I had a license before, I can't confirm whether or not it is included.

EDIT:
Ah. Found the information I was looking for:
Quote:All versions of Torque X come with a 30-day free trial of Torque X Builder (the editor formerly known as TGBX). The Indie license for TXB is $100 and the Commercial license is $495.

You also get Torque Game Builder for free with your purchase of Torque X Builder. People who buy Torque Game Builder still get Torque X Builder for free as well.

Users who subscribe to Microsoft's Creators Club will soon be able to get Torque X Builder free through the Creators Club website at creators.xna.com.

Thats some good advice David, I'll give it a go. Thanks. And I'll check out the creators club website to see how that's going to work.

Personally, it really depends on the type of game you are making to see what kind of use it will give to you.
Though, either way, I would definitely suggest getting it. Play with the trial (do the 5 tutorials) and you will see how wonderful it is.
