Torque X Builder not working on Vista?
by Paul Bellezza · in Torque Developer Network · 10/25/2007 (12:53 pm) · 4 replies
I am currently running Windows Vista, and whenever I run Torque X Builder, it will give me the loading bar, but no splash screen. The program loads and then just sits there for a few minutes. Then I get a dialog that says "TXB.exe has stopped working." Is there any way to fix this?

EDIT: I checked for new drivers, and I think mine are up to date. I've also had this same problem when I try to run Determinance (Torque 3D game).

Yeah, I also tried running it under XP Service Pack 2 compatibility, but it didn't seem to make a difference. Neither did running it in administrator mode. I'm not sure about drivers, I'll try updating them, but I'm not sure it'll do anything.EDIT: I checked for new drivers, and I think mine are up to date. Did you check with the manufacturer or on Windows Updates? Always check with the manufacturer.
