Is this suitable for a school?

Hey all,
I am a technology teacher, and I have just purchased Think tanks with the idea that it would be a fun, teambuilding multiplayer lan game for a school environment. What do you all think? I think I can justify it but what would you say?
Thanks for your time and efforts:)

Be sure to make backups. I've re-downloaded this game countless times. :P
EDIT: The ignore script download is broken...i'll find another one

Agreeing with all the above points, i'd also like to point you to an easy add-on administrator script (it's an old version, but its fully functional), and an ignore script, which allows you to flip off chat messages from a certain player, just in case. ^_^thinktanks.jkdg.com/dc/

I work at an indigenous college, so most of my work is in encouraging kids that computers are cool and there are job pathways to be had by getting into games and animation. If I can get kids running admin scripts and making skins for their tanks, I will do a backflip (no, not really) At teh moment I am getting them into the idea that you can be in the computer with your friends and/or other people and all play the same game. Its teaching them about networks and servers if they like it or not.
Ok one more question, sorry Mods ( I should post a new thread)
we got into the prefs.cs and made it so thinktanks can only see LAN games on our server,
but how do you set up a specific server to run thinktanks for Admin scripts etc? MAc os X (tiger or Leopard)
Thanks for any help

Aaron, what name did you register with? I have been receiving all registration requests to my email for verification and have sent out a mail to all registrants except one new one I just received today. The reason for this is we had more spam accounts than real accounts and had our archives infected with spam porn links and such. This new registration method has eliminated all of that. If you tell me the name you used to register with I will activate it immediately. Thanks and welcome to the best game going.

Modding the terrains and skinning tanks would be a great project for your class.
I'd do that, but since I teach 5th grade, it's a little above what would be expected. There's a lot of modding information on planetThinktanks2.com, the fansite for Thinktanks.
I'd be curious to hear what you do if you try this at school. I often play at school, but have only had students play on special occasions like Xmas break or the last day. I would recommend you make sure you are only on a LAN, though.
If you want to discuss more, catch me over at PTT2.
