Well what do you need? What do you find the most difficult to do yourself and which content pack will teach you the most?

Mind you, I don't believe in content packs, I say save your money and buy some software or books - they'll get you further than any content pack from this site.

I suggest you wait and get familiar with TGEA first. Once you get the hang of it, you will have a MUCH better idea of what you really want. The decision is really yours based on your specific needs. For example, you may find yourself delving into TorqueScript and perhaps may realize the benefits of getting Torsion.

Once you decide what will benefit you, then you can ask more specific questions like "What can I buy which will help me learn how to..."

Oh yes. Despite some inestability, Codeweaver is for me the better IDE by FAR.

K well im thinking of buying this:

1. TGE
2. Upgrade to TGEA(just as much as only TGEA)
3. jetbike pack
4. Torsion
5. ultimate unwrap
6. the Programmer's Guide to Torque

what do you think?

Book: Advanced 3D Programming All in One

I on the other hand dont think you should buy the Jetbike pack. It sucks imho. I cant see that you're mentioning making a bike game, but I have done some work on bikes, and that is NOT the way to go.

If you're not an artist I would suggest you buy some content packs you could use with your first product or get someone to do it for you.

But as Tim also mentions, the books are really the first weapon you need in the Arsenal that is Torque.

I think you'd get the most for your money out of GPGT book, Torsion, or UU (in that order).

Wait -- you don't have TGE yet?
