Looking for a coder

by JLVDP · in Jobs · 09/13/2007 (3:15 am) · 2 replies

Hi all,

I am looking for an experienced Torque coder to work on a non-game project. I am based in Brussels, Belgium and I hope to find a coder from Belgium, France, Netherlands or Germany. But any interested person is welcome.

The project requires a short demo development stage before it can bring any income but it is commercially very interesting.

Basically, the project will require development for camera and lighting management within rather small levels with an outlook as ultra-realistic as the Torque engine can afford. In this perspective, Torque advanced seems appropriate. There will also be some development on the User Interface that will gradually become quite complex. This is a long term development project so candidates should have a professional motivation to apply.

Leave a post here or send an email an TorqueDev@hotmail.com if you are interested. Please give me some info about your past experience with Torque.

Thank you in advance,

JLVDP

Please , provide more information about the project on which the coder is associated to work. TGEA is really complex platform and the small explanations aren't enought. At least i must think about it whether i am capable or not to finish the work you desire from me(respectively for the others).

Hi Metodi,

thank you for your reply. What I can tell here is that the project is basically an object viewer but with advanced interactive controls on lighting and camera. The good thing is that the development will be gradual. We can start with a pretty basic viewing set up and it can allow for some time to learn TGEA as we go along (and quickly get some lttle compensation in return for everyone involved).

Please contact me by email or MSN messenger at TorqueDev@hotmail.com and I will explain you more about the project and its development for the future.
