Hey, anyone who wants to know how to make their own missions & levels, my friend's wiki has a tutorial on that. It will answer all your questions and it's very thorough on explanations. The URL is:

onekopakaspace.strangled.net/wiki/index.php/MBLET

Note: This tutorial has not been finished since Monday, September 3rd, 2007 @ 2:42:45pm (PST). Please help us finish the tutorial if you know how to design custom levels. Just make sure you provide a good explanation on every topic!

For those who want to know, the official Marble Blast Wiki is located at marbleblast.wikia.com. I have copy-pasted everything from there over to the occicial wiki.

Homsar Walker, as the administrator of Onekopakaspace Wiki, I would like you to take down the copied content, because I would like to have a log of people using the content on my Wiki. If not, your site WILL be DoS'd. Also, your wiki sucks.

And as administrator of the web server that handles requests to Onekopakaspace Wiki, please use onekopakaspace.strangled.net/wiki/index.php/MBLET (this not through https) instead. You will get a faster experience that way.

--Onekopaka
P.S. Homsar Walker, you should start using a browser with spell check.

A good tutorial but incomplete and has several mistakes that are pretty stupid. You might want to re-check everything :) As well, some more windows instructions would be good.

Quote:Also, your wiki sucks.

It is being redesigned, I just temporarly shut it down. And what does BoS'd mean? also, I did not write a lot of the actual content on it.

You know what? You should just

SHUT THE F**K UP!

Ok, I'm happy now.

HW, he's giving a good point. He does not want you using his content on your wiki, and you should respect that. BoS'd means he can complain to ScribbleWiki or whatever you're using now and have your Wiki removed for stealing his work.

He said DoS not BoS..

Denial-of-service attack

In computer security, a denial-of-service attack (DoS attack) is an attempt to make a computer resource unavailable to its intended users. Typically the targets are high-profile web servers, and the attack attempts to make the hosted web pages unavailable on the Internet. It is a computer crime that violates the Internet proper use policy as indicated by the Internet Architecture Board (IAB).

And homsar, he's right, you should take his content out of his site, especially since you didn't ask for permission.

Fine, I'll take it down.

But I am SERIOUSLY insulted by this:

Quote:You will get a faster experience that way.

I am seriously insulted. I put a lot of work into this wiki. Work you would not even understand. And he's a rebuttal:

If you go to the future wiki at marbleblast.xlphp.net, you will get an extensive wiki decicated to MBG, and run by someone who actually know s and has been paying the game for over 2 years.

I did not write any of the articles with spelling errors, though.

Here's my take:

I didn't know there was an 'official' MBG wiki(Homsar's wiki) or I probably would've have added my content to that wiki. I just like the idea of a wiki because so many people ask for advice on how to make levels. It gets so repetitive to repeat it on this or any forum. A wiki is the perfect medium since people can edit it and improve it.

That said, I don't think Darren should have said Homsar's wiki 'sucks.' That was wrong. But I agree with Matan and Lonestar that it is wrong to copy from another's wiki, so I can see why Darren may have reacted the way he did. But perhaps Homsar is angry because Darren's wiki may take attention away from his.

Personally, it doesn't matter to me, but I'd like to see you guy work together. That would be great! And, I think we would have a nice resource for new MBG player.

Well same here. The wiki doesn't really suck and I don't know why my friend Darren hates it so much, but I think it's pretty cool. HOWEVER:

Some of the spelling is messed up and Homstar Walker needs to change that.

@SoloHans, are you planning to stay on Onekopakaspace Wiki???

P.S: The pronunciation is one-koh-pa-kuh-space, just so you know.

OKSW faced downtime due to forgetting to back up config files, moving machines, etc.

Homsar Walker: Do you still have the content of the original page?

I'm so with Homsar.
Yes. I hate bumping but I seriously HATE Jeff/Darrens wiki.
Your wiki Is bad. darren.
Quote:I did not write any of the articles with spelling errors, though.
This likely means. that YOU. have made spelling errors. in YOUR. wiki.
also. you can remove your wiki from "onekopakaspace" its directing people to agree to something. therefor i wil NOT help you in your wiki unless i fell it. Homsars wiki is better. you mightaswell start making the main wiki THERE. as i say.

This all points that i'm siding with homsar. unless this wiki is completely moved to somewhere like freewebs.
