Power Render 6 Source code for $100 to the first 500 developers

Don't miss out on this amazing deal! Power Render 6 is a commercial quality 3D engine and normally we license the source code to companies for $5500. A lot of work has gone into this engine but at this price we feel that not many people have a chance to see it. We would like to have a LOT MORE people using and sharing content for the engine. We would like you to help participate and build this community. In this special promotion the first 500 developers can buy a site license for the engine with full source code for ONLY $100!

I don't mean to start an engine war here. At this price hopefully people can afford to have both on hand for reference. Power Render has been around for ages... It used a software renderer before DirectX even existed. There's a lot of useful stable code available here that programmers might find useful.

Some of the screenshots were from projects done with the engine over the past 10 years, so don't judge it on that. It's a very capable engine that has been maintained and constantly updated to be cutting edge, and yet it's scalable enough to have been around for a long time.

I have to agree with Lex. You have to make a great first impression and updating your screenshots will do that.

Is there any list/chart over completed commercial games/apps that are using PowerRender ?

Seen better with Torque.

Well I've posted a few newer screenshots. Maybe if people would actually try out the engine and put better content into it instead of my programmer art, it would look nicer. That's the point... Not many people have been using it because it cost too much for them. We want a better community so now it's available with full source code for $50 less than Torque.

Hey Chris, nice offer! Getting a better community would help PR a lot I think as well as a way better demo maybe for it. Don't want to sound offending, but PR really needs a better demo that doesn't look like programmer's art. :-) Please don't get me wrong, it's just that PR doesn't sell good to someone from "outside" with the existing screenshots and stuff. Well, regardless how good the engine is, it's the marketing that still sells the stuff to the people. :-)
Good job on the engine anyway and I think you will get a lot of new customers with that offer. BTW: Is there a counter somewhere so that everyone knows when the 500 license limit is reached?

Its looks to me that Power Render uses only Direct3D, or can i use Power Render with OpenGL (+GLSL) too?

I as Programm i am also interested in an overview of the diferent C++ Classes. Is there an overview?

PR6 is Direct3D only. I don't have a nice chart made up, but you can download the demo version and look at the programmer's reference of all the classes.
