Vista Problems

Hello everyone. I have Windows Vista, and when I start up Torque Constructor, it runs, but the window will not come up for some reason. It does the same thing when I run it in compatibility mode.

I ran it as an administrator, but it still won't work. The funny part about this though is that when you open up the task manager, and when you go to processes, you see Constructor.exe running. Somthing is going wrong here.

Have you updated your video drivers with the latest Vista ones?

Hmm sounds weird- I am using this one on Vista (Nvidia card) and I do not have any problems.

I've never had a problem with constructor on Vista, either.

Click on the wall that you are passing through and select detail as the type of brush. Then select structural. That did it on some of my walls, even though they were listed as structural. Something got munged in them.

Did you ever solve this issue? I've been having a similar issue. I think it's been narrowed down to Openal. Here is a similar thread. http://www.garagegames.com/community/forums/viewthread/83449

Try setting your Graphics Options out of Aero, if it's enabled.
