Another TGEA problem

When I run starter.fps, the demo, or anything else I have no textures, objects, or entities. The ground is black, the water is purple, and none of the objects show up. Strange thing is the sky and sun show up fine.
I have looked through all the script files I could find and nothing has changed. Every file is in its proper place. I tired reinstalling my video drivers and that didn't help either. Does anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

It says I am missing several files, and it says it again further down the file. I was under the impression I did not need to add anything to make it work....

That's just standard Torque console spam, it's not why you're seeing graphical glitches. EVERY version of Torque has console errors, they don't take as much pride in their releases as I would like.

Izzardius, could you post what's happening after shaders.cs is executed? I have a feeling it might be that you don't have DirectX April 2007 installed, but that's the way we'll tell.

Just installed DirectX from the link-no luck. Doing the same thing as before.

Just a question, do you actually need to have the DirectX SDK installed just to run TGEA? I ask as I've read other forums here where TGEA wasn't working on a particular PC and installing the SDK seemed to resolve the issue(s). I understand why you need the SDK to develop but you shouldn't need it just to run a built executable.

No, you don't need it installed. You can just have the redistributable version installed. Most shipped DirectX games have an installer on the CD.

It works now. Installing the SDK worked. Although I uninstalled it to see of Matt's second redistributable worked and now it works without either the SDK or the redistributable installed. Weird...... Anyway, thanks for all your help.
