TGE 1.5 - Am I able to disable TLK (lighting)?

I have TGE 1.4 and am interested in upgrading to version 1.5. For $50, it seems like an awesome deal that I don't want to pass up. However, I have one question:

Is there a way to disable the TLK advanced lighting features and revert to standard TGE 1.4 lighting? I'm sure the TLK enhancements are awesome; however, for my purposes I don't need them and I find it adds about 30-50 seconds to the mission load times (I downloaded the 1.5 demo). Now, I know that 30-50 additional seconds of load time isn't normally a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but it does kind of hamper what I have planned.

I'm not asking how to disable it (as this is the public forum--however, if this topic is discussed in the private forums, please point me in the right direction); I'm just asking if it's possible.

Thanks a lot, guys!

The 1.5 demo, looks pretty- but it is not a practical 'test-run' for 1.5 in game performance. It was made to show off all the features in one small 'map' without any real thought put into optimization.

I use 1.42TLK and really like the Light Kit, have not notice it adding extra time to mission load times. Relight only needs to happen once per 'fresh' mission, so that is not going to slow you down.

Someplace here is a link to some simple CORE changes that will significantly accelerate mission load times, people report shaving off 3 to 5 minuts.

@Caylo: I suppose you have a good point--the demo is meant to show off everything and that probably has an affect on the loading time.

Assume that I'm too lazy to search and find that link on my own. Can you give me a pointer?
