Hi all, i suspect this mightn't be the best thread but here goes...
i am thinking of getting back into making educational games again and am thinking of TGB as an option. I used to use director which is no longer being developed (not that it was that great anyway) and I don't like using flash.
TGB looks like a viable option but I am wondering how appropriate it would be for these features:
- drag/drop
- text fields that can be shown/hidden, and made editable and non-editable
- is the audio library good enough that i could do some very rough lip syncing (maybe just animate a mouth while a sample is playing, or even have it's size relative to the samples volume)
- is it possible to interface an app with a website database (mysql)
- is it able to interface with a local database (something i've never done before - only worked with web db's)
thanks all, any feedback greatly appreciated.
nay.
