1.5.1 Character directional sunlight

The player and weapon do not seem to receive and any directional light from the sun with TGE 1.5.1
I tried some extreme contrast with sun set to 1 and ambient set to 0.1 but still no change, any ideas or is just broke?

Hehe, I'm glad I didn't already merge 1.5.1 with out 1.5 codebase. :-) Will wait until 1.5.2 then. Thanks John for clearing this issue!

Now I wish I hadn't spent so much time merging to 1.5.1. Still, good job with the quick fixes. =D

@John: Any chance of a few more details of the fix? I'd rather not wait for 1.5.2 to come out to resolve this one.

I replaced some of the 1.5.1 lighting files (.cc and .h) with a few from one of John K's recent resources (3D object viewer maybe), and it solved the directional light problem for my characters.
