Is there a way to get CSG subtract to work only on brushes that are selected?

What I mean is for it to only work on brushes that are selected - ie, not affect brushes that aren't selected. Currently when you do a CSG subtract, it subtracts the selected brushes from everything else. What I would like is for the two selected brushes to be subtracted from each other, and leave everything else alone.

Use the lock unselected or hide unselected option to make sure the rest of your scene does not get included in the subtract.
