These are all posted as well on the Constructor landing page, but I figured I would save you a trip.

Torque Constructor Known Issues
Constructor and Direct DIF Export
* Conflict with logitech mouse software disables extra mouse buttons and scroll wheel. Disable logitech mouse software to fix this (Windows only)
* Constructor crashes when minimized if using outdated intel graphics express drivers.
* Creating an extremely dense sphere or cylinder can cause the tool to fail. Reduce the number of sides to something reasonable for the size of the brush.
* With certain external devices connected, loading and saving files on the Desktop can result in a crash. (Windows only)
* Bad lighting on static shapes that have been flipped.
* Constructor very occasionally crashes when switching between open scenes.
* Undo stack very occasionally stops recording new undo states. This can be fixed by re-launching constructor.
* Resetting texture size repeatedly invalidates the texture coordinates. This can be fixed by realigning the texture to the face.
* Undoing the deletion of a light entity after immediately after deleting a static shape it can cause a crash.
* Click selection can fail on objects that are at an extreme distance from the scene center.
* Undo cloned static shapes can corrupt undo and cause crash
* Constructor DIF export does not yet directly support portals and zones. (Coming Soon)
* TGEA Export with baked-in static shapes and lighting is not currently supported. (Coming Soon)
Map2Dif Exporter
* May fail when exporting to non-english directories.
* Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0 causes security warning when exporting using map2dif.
Known Issues With TGE 1.5.1 and Constructor Integration
* Lighting of static meshes
o Static meshes only support static lighting
o Flipped objects (both brushes and static meshes) still produce odd shading

Ironically these two things still not working are the only things that
our graphics team was waiting to get hands on/needs the most .
Until that undefined *Coming Soon* we will just have to stick with QuArk *sigh*
felt almost like christmas come early ......
PS. Please define *Soon* :) ?

I have several DIFs that I've built with 3DWS that just need to be optimized with portals.
I noticed that there is an option in Constructor to add portals. Does it not work at all?
How about smoothing? Is that working?
Thanks.

So how do I go about setting up portals for my structures?I have several DIFs that I've built with 3DWS that just need to be optimized with portals.

Portals and Zones can be exported with Map2Dif export, but not yet with the direct exporters.
