Dts To Dif?

Our team works in 3D max, and currently I am unaware of any way to get max files converted into DIFs. So when we got the constructor tool and I saw you could pull your DTS files in I thought we might be able to export them as DIFs. We tried and it did not seem to work. The file came into the constructor fine and seemed to export as well, but when we tried to Place it in TGE it would not show up. Is this a function you can perform with the constructor and we are just doing something wrong? Or is trying to convert Max files into DIFs a lost cause?
Thanks :)

You must use the "Export as DIF..." option to export, and be running Torque 1.5.1 or later in order for DTS files in your scene to show up.
Note that the DTS files are completely baked in to the DIF scene, textures and all - so you don't need to include additional copies in your Torque project directories.
NOTE: "Export As Legacy DIF..." is not the option you want: it will not export any baked in DTS shapes and is used for backward compatibility with the older DIF formats used in versions of TGE prior to 1.5.1
