So, I've installed Constructor, but needed some help to get started... Unfortunately, it doesn't allow me to access the TDN articles on Constructor. ...why?

God freaking damnit... Constructor crashed on me, and now my saved file doesn't open. Nothing happens at all when I select my file. All other files that came with constructor work, though. o.O

Save often.
Oh and that's why you make backups ;) You have to do that in this industry.

Most of what you need to know:
-T goes into standard Quark/Hammer style "stretch and move" mode when you have a brush selected. Press it again, or press enter, to go back to select mode.
-Hold down right mouse and use WASD/mouse to move the camera
-Go to System, Preferences, Quick Prefs, View Camera (at the bottom) and check "free cam" to turn off the "orbit target" mode which seems to be the default (if you like your camera to be TGE editor style, anyway).
-Control the grid in System, Preferences, Quick Prefs. Note that Constructor uses meters, not "Silly Quark Units" (SQU's ;) ).
-Save your old maps as .MAP files to load them in Constructor
-Everything else should be pretty standard if you're used to brush-based modeling. If you're not, there are lots of great generic tutorials for this type of modeling.
