All aboard for community fun

I'm working on a game of some scope and complexity for the big contest ending on july 2nd. DreamBuildPlay. The premis is a early final fantasy type game, which encompases all of the great game-play of a game like final fantasy 5, and exagerates and explores the ideas further, for a more modern feel and level of enjoyment. The concept name for the game is "Zthompurz". Heres some screen-shots of the current level of progress. Basically all i have right now, are two animated sprites, with a material component which will switch its animated material if the character is faced west/east or idle. currently Phoebe and Pepe are idle. Hopefully we'll have lots of characters worlds and stuff by the time july comes around. Hopefully if anyone else was thinking of going down this final fantasy style game route, we can be allies and not enemies!
