Considering TGE....

I am currently a TGB user, yet my project needs coliding with 3D. So before I start downloading the TGE demo and begin investigating, I have a couple of questions.
I am creating a top-down view of a racing game where the main landscape and cars (player) are 2d. Yet to create a sense of realism, I wanted objects with major depth, like buildings and trees, to be 3d so they have that perspective shift when the camera follows the car.
Mainly. Can you import levels (with collision) created in TGB into TGE?
If not can you layout collisions on the 2d map?
