The Project - "Strange Days"
Project Members: Chris Gosling and Joshua Jewell
GAME PLAN
To develop one level of an FPS game using a modified version of the Torque Game Engine (TGE 1.5). More levels will follow (probably in installments) if there is enough interest. We plan to release this level as a free game on the web. Further levels (if developed) may be sold in installments or as a complete game. If we do actually manage to make money from the game then anyone who has contribute will receive a fair share of royalties.
HELP NEEDED
Due to the workload of this project we are looking for team members to help any area of game development. However the roles that we most urgently need to fill are:
* Modeler
* Character animator
* Mapping
* Concept artist
* Sound
If you want to contribute to the project then please contact us:
Joshua Jewell: joshjewell29@hotmail.com
Chris Gosling: chrisg@colab-aktiv.com
A tech demo of some of the programming work as well as a multiplayer design document can be found here:
hosted.filefront.com/joshjewell29

I have one helpful suggestion, which is to watch out for trademark and copyright infringement. There was a movie created called Strange Days, so I would look into how this might impact your project. The stories appear to have nothing to do with each other (with the exception of how the future is perceived), but corporate types tend to get pissy about name and title usage.
Good luck with the project, I'll be monitoring it.

Hey Chris. First of all, great concept all around. You are off to an amazing start in design and story. You are starting small in scope (1 level as a proof of concept), and you appear to be very organized.I have one helpful suggestion, which is to watch out for trademark and copyright infringement. @Michael: thanks for the heads up on usage of the "Strange Days" name. I'll look into this as we get closer to release.
