Showtool Pro Registration Error

I CANNOT get Showtool Pro to register. When I try the built in registration option, Showtool Pro gives me this error:
"There was an error connecting to the Ignition server, please try again later. If this problem persists, please contact GarageGames."
Showtool Pro DOESN'T EVEN TRY to connect to the internet! It instantly gives me that error ever time I click on the registration button.

So, I tried the "offline" method of registration... No luck. I followed the instructions as far as they went, but nothing worked. I've tried pasting the "ignition" key into every file inside Showtool Pro application package but nothing works...

I'm thinking it might be because I have an older version of ShowTool Pro. I downloaded the demo a while ago, back when it only had a 7 day trial period (I haven't used it until now, so I still have 3 days left). I believe the demo now has a 30 day trial period.
