Magic Pearls goes TGB

A while ago I released "Magic Pearls", an underwater casual puzzle game. Last month I decided to port it over to TGB, and now its 95% done, so time to show some pics :)

I already had the artwork, so I was able to port this game rather quick. The only things that took some time were the pathfinding etc (wrote it completely in script, i might even release the pathfinding code, if I find the time to clean it up a bit). Everything else went really smooth (TGB rocks!).

Anyway, I'm looking for some testers to test for bugs. Especially people with older operating systems (98, ME). If you are interested let me know ( let me know what OS you can test on).

I would do a little testing for you.
I have an old machine running at the moment as secondry PC.
Pentium 3, 128mb ram, Intel integrated 82810E graphics, windows ME....
Just yell if you need the help.

Thanks.
I think I can have a final build ready by tomorrow or friday. The one thing that was bugging me seems to be solved, so its almost done now.
Gameplay seems to work fine, so it should work on all systems that can run TGB, the only thing I'm worried about is that the installer and the demo functionality won't work on older systems (like 98, or ME). So Dustin, I'll let you know when I have a final build ready... thanks for the offer!

Hi Ward.
I would be happy to test your game. I have not an old machine. I'm running XP in a pentium centrino processor at 1.5 Mhz.
Game looks awesone.

It was late when I posted last night..
If I'm remembering correctly, the last time I tried running TGB on my ME machine it would not start.(I think ME was the worst nightmare that Msoft put out..) I think the window would come up to the black screen and then just hang...
If you get your final build ready, I will try it and give you some feedback.

Did some testing myself, so no longer needed.
Anyway, just uploaded a little gameplay demo video on youtube, so I tought I'd post it here:

(there are some video compression artifacts in the video, but you get the idea)

That looks very cool. I like how you've allowed the player to use the mouse and automatically worked out where the blocks can go, rather than forcing them to push the blocks around with the keyboard as is more normal in these kind of games.

Thanks,
The pathfinding was defenetly one of the harder parts of the game, specially because I programmed it in script. But it was defenetly worth it, makes the game stand out from other, similar games.
