Odd center

Hey everyone,
I'm getting closer and closer to getting a rigged character into Torque. The latest snag I've run into is that when I export the character with the armature it seems to screw up the center of the model. When I load the .dts into ShowTool, it has a stray point (bone?) where it thinks the center of the model is.

I'm not sure how to fix this. Any suggestions or ideas?
I did notice there is a subshape in the tree called Exp-Catch-Root, what is that?
