Exporting bones/nodes? to DTS

This is probably a stupid newbie repeat of a previous question, but after 3 days of looking I haven't been able to solve this.
I'm using Blender 2.42 with the latest version of the DTS exporter (.92 I think). After several false starts and using the example file I can now sucessfully export any of the shapes to the DTS file and they will load in torque properly textured.
My problem - I need to export bone or nodes or whatever for muzzlePoint, ejectPoint, mountPoint. I don't do a lot of animation (yet) and assuming that this requires bones, I cannot get the bones to show up in the exporter GUI for export.
Yell at me if you must, flame me if you must, but somebody PLEASE point me to a simple, even step by step if available, tutorial or demonstration that will show me how to do this.
Your patience and assistance is greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Whiteraven (Jim)
