Anyone know how to export to .dif from 3ds max or is this possible?

i.e. what is the best way or which exporter is best to use when exporting to Dif from max 8.

thanks

Theres no surefire way getting max to dif. You should use Quark or DeleD to create the models, as they need to be brushbased, sorry.

Otherwise I think theres a max2map and then a map2dif tool but if you have only slightly concave objects its gonna break. So Best approach use a dedicated Brushbased modeller.

Look up Game Level Builder and read through the documentation carefully to comply with CSG-safe practices in Max. Then use Map2Dif to convert the created .map files.

Or use a program that was designed for brush-based modeling.
