Can't Compile

by Travis Vroman · in Torque Game Engine · 06/01/2002 (9:02 pm) · 2 replies

All right... here's my problem. I cannot compile the Torque engine at all. I am getting about 11 errors. First off, I am using Win98, MS C++6.0. One of the problems in the debugging stage is that it comes up with a message (when trying to run the program) that it cannot find a compatible display device. WTF? I have a Voodoo 3 3000, which has 3d hardware acceleration. Also, get messages saying things like "user breakpoint called from code '0xbff768a0' and 0xbff768a2 and 0xbff768a3, and 0x788cee..... and so on. I don't know that much C++, just a little here and there. The question I have is how would I compile the engine and the utilities that go with it from a fresh start? PLEASE HELP....

thank you,
