TGBX key for owners?
by Jason Cahill · in Torque X 2D · 12/11/2006 (11:28 pm) · 10 replies
I own both TGB Pro and Commercial licenses, but in "My Account" area, it says "Key not required." TGBX is saying I need to enter this key if I want the "full version." Is this a limitation of the open beta? Or am I missing keys in my "My Account" page? Thanks for the help.

Never mind I think I get it now. I download the open beta and then install the tgbx_pro from my account....
You may want to clarify those instructions...

I have downloaded and installed TorqueX open beta, but after I ran TGBX editor for the first time it said 0 days left - register. This is my forst installation of garagegames product. Why I don't have 30 days trial period ?

Are you guys saying that you have a link in your account page and you're installing something other than the TGBX demo?

@Jason - did you (or anyone) figure out where the keys are. I have the EA version of TGB Pro...and I don't have an activation key either. It also says for me "No Key Required".

Ahhh... That's the answer. Thanks Alienforce. For everyone else (or since I'm the slow kid in the class), go to your My Account page, click on download for TGB. You will find the unlocked Torque X download there.

So TGBX only comes with TGBPro?

Pro - download
Binary - key
I think that's how it works from perusing the confusion about this. I downloaded and installed the editors and it works nicely. But since I'm not a binary licensee, I'm not sure how the process works on that end.
EDIT:
Oops. Just noticed on the Torque X page that it is for Commercial binary licensees and Pro licensees.

No. The download that "unlocks" the editors without a registration key is available for Pro. I believe that the normal binary licenses have registration keys associated with their accounts.Pro - download

Edit: Bah! Always after I post... If you actually click the Download link on TGB the editors are on that page... a little confusing I must say, but oh well!
