Terrain textures are best used to approximate the terrain's type, toss in a few DTS and clever use of fxFoliageReplicator to complete the illusion.

Better then what? If your talking terrain square size, im using 1.42 with terrain size = 4. Heck even at size 2 you still can not expect to get terrain texture DETAILS to show up with any type of 'realism'.
