    HereHere is a small sample from my collection.

    The real KEY to good terrain textures in Torque is to NOT expect any real detail from them, they will get stretched to the point all you have is colored smears. Also using a good DETAIL texture is most important.

    Better then what? If your talking terrain square size, im using 1.42 with terrain size = 4. Heck even at size 2 you still can not expect to get terrain texture DETAILS to show up with any type of 'realism'. Unless there is a trick i dont know about.

    Terrain textures are best used to approximate the terrain's type, toss in a few DTS and clever use of fxFoliageReplicator to complete the illusion.
