i have a few question about torque x:

Can I combine it with game studio express?
which are the 3d features of torque x? or is it just 2d?

GMS0012, read the product page. A fair amount of this is on there.

GMS0012... just be patient a little it is currently in development. At LEAST wait till they release it before complaining about lack of information on a product page that has no way to even buy it yet!

That's true. I wish I could talk about it more, but due to NDAs I'm not sure how much can be said.

Matt can you just tell me one thing please. Should I hold of buying TGB until Dec 11 at least as to see if Torque X fullfils my needs... and then if need be I can get TGB later?

Torque X is an XNA compliant 2D (and eventually, full 3D) game engine.
TGB is a 2D game engine and tool set that is not compatible with XNA directly, but will allow you to export 2D scenes (object information and placement, not TorqueScript) to a file that can be imported to Torque X, but the similarity ends there.

Torque X and TGB are two wildly different products.Torque X is an XNA compliant 2D (and eventually, full 3D) game engine.

Ok great thanks Stephen for clearing that bit up. I will get both then.

I'd add to Stephen's comment that the TOOLS for both Torque X and TGB are (essentially) the same. So by getting TGB now, you can learn the tools now, then use that knowledge to get into Torque X more quickly once it's available.

2) It is made to work with Express.
3) The features have not been released yet, though mesh collision was implemented quickly as a test-base, so I will assume that there is 3D functionality. How much makes it in for initial release, however, I do not know.
