Confused?

by Jeffrey Gonzalez · in Torque Developer Network · 11/02/2006 (8:51 pm) · 7 replies

I recently bought TGE and I thought I was suppose to get access to the TDN here: http://tdn.garagegames.com/wiki/&needLogin=1

All I get is this message:

" Sorry, you must own a GG developer product (TGE, TSE, T2D, RTS-SK, Lighting pack, or Constructor) or be a GG Associate in order to qualify for the TDN beta."

I do own TGE since I just bought it. There is no place on that page to enter my user name. can anyone help?

Try logging out of this site (www.garagegames.com) and then log back in. Then go to the tdn site.
It's supposed to see that you are logged in to the site and let you view the content.

Make sure that you are not blocking cookies in your browser.

Thanks for the reply. I did log out and log back in. I even closed all browser. I tried under both EI as well as firefox. I just cannot get access to the TDN. All I get is that messge.

Delete your cookies?

At first I had the same problem, but I believe I just hit the "login" button on TDN and it let me in, fine.

I'm really not high on all the segmentation of forums and other info on the GG site....and not at all sure I can conceive of a rationale, at least as far as just reading them is concerned.

Thanks again for the responses but I think the WEB wiki system is kinda messed up or something on my account is messed up. either way I am not sure who I can contact since it appears this bug has been around for over a year and all the respose are logout and log back in and delete cookies. You would think they could fix it. I know I run several private wikis on my servers here and I have had to fix a few things in them with login problems.

So steps I have tried all met with either the login require page or the message stating I need to on a Torque SDK (once again I recently purchased TGE 2 days ago).

delete all cookies
remove all securites and remove all firewall (not a smart thing to do with windows)
Tried in both EI and firefox

logout and the back in

Logout out deleted all cooking anc cached pages remove all securites and firewalls (once again nto wise to do) click the TDN link and clicked login.

logout then login back in the click the TDN

sacrficed several cookies to the computer god... well ok I just ate them.

Anyother help other than delet cookies and logout?

Hey Jeffrey, I'm in the same boat as you.
I also recently purchased v1.5, and cannot get TDN to work.
Have tried all the stuff you have, no luck.

Can anyone guide us in the right direction? Thanks!!
