I notice this file torqueDemo.ilk after recompile Torque 1.5.0 in the example folder. It is about 7mb, is it safe to delete the file. I delete it and did not seem to matter that it is not there.

However, there is a rumor that if you delete it, you'll receive a phone call and die seven days later. I'd get rid of all the TVs in your house right now. Can't be too careful.

Ok, are you going to believe an employee like Stephen Zepp who taught me how to use Torque, or are you going to believe the rantings of a Halloween obsessed madman on the day before the best holiday of the year.
On a serious note, he's right, it does contain debuggin information as well, but also the linker info to avoid long builds. I usually just do a clean and rebuild anyway, so it doesn't matter much to me to delete it.

I believe that's the incremental linker file. It's there for development purposes so you don't have to sit through the full linking process. For actually running the game, you don't need it.However, there is a rumor that if you delete it, you'll receive a phone call and die seven days later. I'd get rid of all the TVs in your house right now. Can't be too careful.

Just because I showed you a thing or two early on Michael doesn't mean that you don't have areas you know much better than I!

Heheh...I think Michael is right...that's the linking information now that he mentions it. Just because I showed you a thing or two early on Michael doesn't mean that you don't have areas you know much better than I!

You can delete the incremental link file and still do minimal rebuilds. You will not be able to run "Edit and Continue" builds (debug) without it though normal debug builds will work just fine.

Thanks very much.

It may contain additional information as well.
