the performance are very very low

i am getting form 10 to 2 fps at some places

so now i dont know if i will upgrade
i wont pay for a speed downgraded upgrade

and i got my licence on july 27 2006
just a couple of days and i would of got it free

and at the same time i got my 4 monts vacation without $
now i have to wait 6 monts to get it

anyway keep up the good work

The demo is chock full of crazy lighting and effects. The engine is still just as speedy, but as with any game, the more you add, the greater the toll on your system. I just downloaded the full SDK for 1.5, and most of the demo missions run just fine, no slow down. However, when I load the new Stronghold.mis, my framerate slows to a crawl. The mission is beautiful, but filled with tons of special effects, audio emitters, particles, ect.

Don't worry, the engine is still fast. Don't run away =)

You can never please everyone, and this is a good example.

4 months vacation sounds interesting though.

I dont know why people keep saying there fps goes down... myn stays as good as normal, has anyone noticed the cool trick in 1.5 , it has a thing so that when you shoot the ground you bounce up in the air, THATS FUN!

(kinda copied off team fortress 2 though)
