Second life plugin

Hi every one,
i just found the second life game ... and i wihs to get a plugin to export my models from 3dmax into the game it self (SL),,

is that possible ?

I don't know if it is possible through Max with the current engine, but if you look at their developer resources, you can find a lot of development information for artists. You should look there first and check their forum as well.

I checked in forum and even the live suppport , that all never help,

they keep saying oit could be done by scriptig

that's why i came here

I believe Second Life requires you to build shapes using their built-in editor, because they send the commands you used to create the object, not the final mesh. However, I haven't used it in ages (and never got that far into it) so my info is probably outdated by now.

Yes you can get the use of modeling tools and edit inside of that engine ...
but the best way is to get your models inside ...

That's what I gleaned from my minute-long study of their developer site. Which makes perfect sense for legacy compatability.

Use their tools or other user-specified support tools which developers and content creators in their community are using. Just like any other community whether it be Half-Life, Never Winter Nights, Sims, etc. They know their engine. Their community know their engine.
