My plea for MS 4 before a long weekend or How to Write a Letter

Opening:
Dear GG guys,
First some flattery:
I love your products, they have enabled me as an Indy and a student to do far more in the area of game dev then i could ever be capable of with out them. I find them well written (better than if i had written them myself) and the support for them is excillent (i have never had a serious question go un-answered).
Then an emotional appeal:
Im a College student and the semester just started, so this sadly means that my free time is going to rapidly decrease. However this weekend i do happen to one of two 4 day weekends (the other one is thanksgiving, yeah i know only 4 days for thanksgiving WTF!) that are part of the fall semester.
Now some begging:
If you have a working version of TSE milestone 4 that is not too broken could you please please please put it up for download. I know its a product you are activily working on and as a result it could currently be in a broken state due to any of 1 million reasons, but if it isn't any sort of teaser you can push out to us before this 4 day weekend would be greatly appreciated by me, even if not everything works.
Conclusion:
Thank you for your time
Pauliver
Post Script:
P.S. anyone who considers throwing some flame into this post (just finished reading all of the TGE 1.5 stuff so this warning is going in) Be a real man and start your own post, don't hide under mine's skirt.

What would be just as nice as releasing it would be to tell us where it's at in status instead of being clams.

Next on Language Deathmatch: British versus American English! You decide whether there should be a u in colo(u)r!

Joseph, I had to tie my hands to the desk so that I didn't mention the spelling. Then you went and did it! Come on, we have to forgive him his rant about spelling some time :-)

And what about gray and ax? Don't they annoy you? You must have a high annoyance tolerance. And the ever-dreaded "plow".

Back to the original idea.. Project status; It would be neat if they had a white board summary of all the activities they worked on or completed everyday. It would be a pain to make and update it, but I'd bet the community whining would stop. ;)

@Jonathan: You really might be on to something there. I've had a chance in the short time I've been a part of this community to see some pretty amazing things. It reminds me of when I was a kid. Back then I always expected so much from my parents. I had no clue about the work they did everyday, or the fact that they were working mainly to support our family. I was so wrapped up in me that I couldn't appreciate the contribution they were making to the family everyday. As an associate you get a chance to get a glimpse into how much work these guys are doing. I think most members around here would feel really bad about some of the comments they have made if they had more insight into the shear man hours being poured into the GG lineup. I've been fortunate to be a part of some of their product testing, and just by looking at how far along these products have come in such a short time assures me that these guys work their ass off everyday. I'm afraid to ask them how many hours a day they put in to get this stuff so far along.Back to the original idea.. It would be a pain to make and update it, but I'd bet the community whining would stop. ;)

I'm sure most of us appreciate the hard work they do, mostly those of us that work 1+ jobs and code/create in our spare time, what little of it there is. But it's hard to reflect our sympathy with us being on the customer end of the spectrum. We arent involved enough to see what associates or employees do, as in the projects current status and we're excited as all bloody heII about the eminent release. Kudos to Garage Games for perking so much interest, we know they'll deliver a top notch product. But to better see things from a different point of view, as a customer namely, picture a marathon runner poised, set to run, waiting on the starting gun...

'u' in "colour", *boot!*
'i' in "aluminium", *boot!*
Silent 'gh' in anything, *boot!*
And while we're at it, silent 'e's, 'a's, and 'u's... they all need to go! *boot*
And "grey"? It's pronounced "GRAY" not "GREE"! *stomp*
Oh and one more thing: "IDEA" not "IDEAR" =P

American = bayter
English = beeter
Greek (original) = veeter
I've had LOADS of arguments about that one :)

Never heard anyone in the US say "bayter" for beta. Always "bayta".

I know I'm right because american lasses dig the accent and that's all that matters. You know that bit with the English guy going to America in the film "Love, Actually"? It's all true.

As an englishman who's now lived in california for four years, I want to say: Americans are all wrong. It is, in fact, aluminium.I know I'm right because american lasses dig the accent and that's all that matters. You know that bit with the English guy going to America in the film "Love, Actually"? btw: I'm looking forward to MS4.. but I got other stuff I have to do, so waiting a bit longer makes no odds to me :)
