What is "Torque ShowTool pro" used for?

Hi all,
It seems that "Torque showTool pro" is just used for fine-tune of torque models (DTS).
It could not be used in modelling.
If we could fine-tune models in other prg (eg. blender), what is the importance of
this tool?
(Please point me out if I was wrong)
Thanks in advance

Things can tend to end up looking different inside Torque than your modeling program. It is also a fast way to browse through your assests.

To tell the truth I bought TST because I thought I could model with it. When I found out I couldn't, I was pretty disapointed. I learned to use it though, and it is a handy tool for me now. It really is helpful.

I find it invaluable to test my models as dts files, it is different from testing a .max or .blend file and after conversion things could be different.

TST Pro doesn't have any model fixing or altering abilities. It is only for examining existing models to see if they have any problems. The problems that show up in TST Pro should help an experienced modeler fix them in the original modeling app before exporting the model again.

TST Pro is great for testing out models, characters and animations. It provides a reliable way to examine animation cycles from a variety of angles. It also allows developers to see how their LODs are working. Exported models (expecially characters) don't always behave the same way in the game as they do in the original 3D application, so having a Torque-powered object/character/animation viewer can be a big help.
TST Pro is an important tool for anyone who is serious about Torque development.
I hope that helps.
