Need feedback TGE/RTS/TLK Forum

I am presently expanding my RTS_Starter_Kit-1-4_Beta1
to incl VC7 and MAC solutions
and a merge of TLK 1.4
heres the problem
where can i post forum information and docs/edits etc
without possible violations of GG security on source code?
Question requiring Feedback
Do we as a community need a TGE/RTS/TLK private forum?

Seems to me creating a license type called TGE/RTS/TLK would in itself create a one product/license key for forums
no since May of this year I have not seen any of the GG employees involved in this project
post in forums or reply to emails
I can however "assuming you post in RTS private forums for license verification"
do a yousendit file send of the RTS BETA zip file
the instructions are simple
you install TGE 1.4 and VS2005.zip and then unzip RTS to C:\
all changes are written and no compile is necessary to run shortcut
Install TorqueGameEngineSDK-1-4.exe
to C:\RTS_Starter_kit-1-4_Beta1\SDK\
Install (extract all) TGE_VS2005.zip
to C:\RTS_Starter_kit-1-4_Beta1\SDK\
Install (extract all) RTS_Starter_Kit-1-4_Beta1.zip
to C:\
open C:\RTS_Starter_Kit-1-4_Beta1\SDK\example
run Shortcut RTS_Starter_kit-1-4_Beta1
excerpted from
RTS thread
post a message there to me under the thread and ill make a yousendit transfer of
RTS_Starter_Kit-1-4_Beta1.zip for you to build the patcher mods
currently attempting to retrieve the VC7 and Mac solutions from

I was able to follow the code changes and compile using VC7, everything works.
I would hope a final package of RTS mimicking the TLK (TGE 1.4 incl)
would be made avail with all slolutions avail
a VS2005/VC8 VC7 and MAC package i think would be awesome
new addition to Torque community
I personally feel that TGE RTS TLK package has numerous advantages to an indie
publish under TSE .. hardware compat is primary advantage
we are working (Davox and FoxySolutions) on enhancing many things
tools and terrain most important on ToDo list
I sorta am at a standstill as far as community awareness is concerned
cant post current code status without risking a license violation
cant get email replies or forum replies from GG employees
I realise with new offices / Bit Torrent curent issues/ TSE and other projects
this is not a FRONT burner issue
however if we had a place to work as a community the only foreseeable outcome
would be a NICE $199.95 license for a combined TGE RTS TLK product
ready to go after download
future community work based on a common merge/build would only enhance
at an even greater amount the value of such a project
yes as to merge tool for TLK ... issues in terrain folder is all i have
i had to make some real major merge/edits to correct the selection ring process
going to ver 1.4 these are not present in TLK and provide some nice
compiler errors under VS2005 during merge attempts
dealing with #defines for only one set of variables
I have yet to find a (ignore depreciation/ or redefine that cures this)
havent even begun script merge *shudder* FPS v/s RTS lobby again :)

Hi William, I got your email and posted in your RTS Kit thread.
Torque Owner John Kabus (BobTheCBuilder)
What we really need is for GG to post your complete RTS Kit 1.4 to the RTS Kit download page, so I can update TLK's RTS Kit merge tool (it handles the merge automatically, and is extremely easy to use). I'm not sure why this is taking so long.
Did you get any feedback from them as to when they're going to post your code, or why they're are not posting it?
