Quark has strange crash problem.

I am fairly new to quark, but I have been able to make quite a few buildings using it. The problem that I have is that it will sometimes crash, but not in the traditional sense. The 3d window will show the object that I am editing and all of a sudden it will not refresh any of the movements or edits. Example: If I have a simple box and I select to rotate it will show the object before it rotated, then show the object after it rotated without refreshing the screen to the updated position. This forces me to save it and close it, reopen quark and continue working until it happens again. It will get progressively worse as the project gets bigger. This is starting to really slow me down. Any thoughts on what setting is causing this problem.

It seems this question is either too difficult or I didn't explain it right. Instead of answering the above question; does anyone know of the most stable setup. I have quark 6.3.

Thank you

I use the three 2D viewports and press the OpenGL button for a floating textured-3D window. For the record, I use one of the 6.4.x beta builds, though I don't know offhand which exactly.

I will try this to see if it fixes the problem. I just downloaded the newest version and it has this issue still. I had a laptop with an ATI mobil 9600, I believe, and it had this refresh problem for the 3D view. Now I have an NVidea Gforce 7300 GS and it still has the same refresh issue especially when changing the texture of a brush. If I have Quark up and go to the internet and then go back to Quark the 3D window portion will show part of the webpage, or if I put my cursor over the icons; the pop-up info will remain in the 3D window portion of Quark. If I switch it to wireframe then I can move, but when I switch back it will have a blue loading bar that will not go away. It becomes more frequent as the building gets more complex. Very weird and frustrating.

Thank you Eric!!

This fixed the problem mixed with the map2dif_plus. I can finally work with quark without interruption.
