Hey everyone:
First just wanted to let everyone know my Ambient Sounds Pack is up and running at www.garagegames.com/products/89 and it's pretty cool, please check it out. I have many others ready for release on my own site at dlstorminc.fortunecity.com that will be up sometime soon. Now, I have a question on where to expand my talents to as far as getting better at what I do. I use Reason 3.0 to make my Ambient Sounds with as well as FL Studio 6 and Audition and Forge to make and edit the files.
Are there any other tuts or such I can find on the web for tricks and learning even more about audio using Reason and FL? I just ordered the $45 CD from Propellerhead which I think is well worth every penny. I'm trying to always stay on top of my game and bring out the best in Audio packs I humanly can. Hopefully I can get hired on by a game company someday just to do contract work which would be nice. Is anyone else doing Audio contract work or such? Never hurts to ask.
Thanks for any info you guys can give... and thanks for taking the time to read this...

Working with GG to get a sampler up of the pack right now hoping to have something up and going shortly if not I'll make up a small sampler and email it to you if thats cool > just let me know. Write me at dlstorminc@yahoo.com and I'll drop it in the mail asap to you for sampling.
Yeah it is a great price. I am adjusting my prices on all my packs to suit the first pack here on GG. All the others on my own site are available for use in any game engine, but the first pack listed above is only for TGE and TSE. I've had a lot of great feedback so far on the fact many many people such as yourself has been looking for something like this pack so I created one for GG here and the others to help game makers get something totally unique and special. I believe there is a total of 7 Ambient Sounds Packs in all I have available not including the Ambient Drum packs.
If you have gone to my site I'm still working on getting it up so please excuse the mess there :P if you have any questions about the packs please let me know and I'll try my best to answer them all for you. Samples on my site will be up hoping by the mid or late this month. And again, I'll get with GG to see if they can't get me a small sampler up asap. Best of luck on your project...

If you're looking to expand your talents as a sound person, you may want to check out using vst instruments with a host like Cubase, Acid Pro, Sonar or at the better value end of the range Magix studio or Energy XT. There are quite a few free vst instruments out there capable of producing excellent sounds, many cheap vsts capable of breathtaking sounds, and some more expensive vsts that are easily the match for real synthesizers. Do a google search for KvR; it's the best place on the web to find out more about them. You can rewire Reason to be used inside many of the hosts but once you get a taste for vsts you may end up preferring them.

I could use something like this in my current project. I've saved audio task until almost the end. ;)
Just curious, do you have any short, representative clips for the tracks?
By the way, great price, and I like the licensing.
