I created a weapon using blender and it works fine.
I added light_recoil animation in the character. So when i sitched to 3rd person view, whenever I fire I can see the animation recoil, which is quite nice. But twhen I switch to 1st eprson view, i don't see the recoil effect.
So, I'm wondering if there's a way to animate weapon for 1st person view.
I do apologise if my early question didn't seem clear.
Thanks,

Well you see, I was trying to set up weapon animation like the crossbow animation from 1st person view.I created a weapon using blender and it works fine.

Yes, that does clear things up a bit. I have not messed with the anims like that, so I'm not sure what could be causing the problem. I may be able to look into it later. If I find something, I'll re-post. Otherwise, try going through the crossbow and orc with the Show Tool Pro (if you have it) or look through the code (if you have it). It's an odd problem, for sure.

Just disable the eyeoffset, there by you will see the weapon through the eye as it is mounted in the hands. when its in sight, and you play the recaoil anim, it will show up nicely. but be warned, doing this may make your weapon disapear depending on ur eye location and or look animation
