Saving a game

I've had a look around the forums and I can't seem to get my head around this without help.

I was wondering how I can save my game before exiting so that when I return I can have a list to load from.

Any help appriciated, thanks.

Please elaborate. are you refering to saving a mission?

Haven't tried this out as of yet, but here's something I've had bookmarked for when I do:

Save/Load Resource

Well, I know there's one resource on this. I've never used it, but I've heard it's pretty good.
