Neither do I.

From what I can see, and what it looks like Gonzo is refering to, is that every (or almost every) post/comment that user has submitted has been edited so that its contents are completely gone.

I see what you mean gonzo that is a very strange thing to do. I wonder why he did it?

Huh, probably got upset about something and decided to leave. The krabbit team did the same thing when they left.

Really disappointing when that happens :(

I have to admit that there have been times when someone posted interesting stuff that would have been helpful later on. On occasion I've seen people get answers and then delete their threads making it useless to anyone walking the same path later on.Really disappointing when that happens :(

How very professional. Maybe using deletion requests that require approval by the mods would be a better approach?

jeeze.
but playing devil's advocate for a moment,
it's possible that the Legend Studios account belongs to developer who's funder(s) recently became worried about the source-available and community nature of the torque engine, and for IP reasons asked L.S. to remove all posts made to GG..
but even then, the professional thing to do would have been to
1. call "phiddle-faddle" on the money peeps
or
2. at least replace the posts with some explanation/apology instead of just erasing them entirely.
i don't think it makes sense to implement an Approval system tho.
events like this are rare enough that the price which good-faith posters would pay in terms of waiting for moderator approval would be way too much compared to the gain from preventing the relatively rare abuses of the edit- and delete-posts features.

- just realized that a couple resources i've submitted have had Legend Studios's comments self-deleted as well.jeeze.
