Thinktanks doesn't work on Intel Macs

I installed THinkTanks 1.1 from a fresh download to my MacBook Pro.

Thinktanks crashes almost as soon as it starts. Sometimes after several minutes into the game.

Very strange. I tried repairing permissions, not luck.

Is this still the case that TT does not work on Intel macs?
Is there a work around, upgrade or fix in the works?
