TSE and linux?

Now, its been a while since I heard anything about this, but....
Is TSE still going to be ported to linux? Its worrying looking at how dependant it seems to have become on dx9.

The OpenGL layer hasn't been implemented yet. TSE is still DirectX.

I could see that! Thats why I asked what was happening with it all.

I don't like the thought of it becoming reliant on dx, thats what its looking like.

As it was said before on other threads, in a future releases of TSE it will be made with it's own GFX system that allows you to run it within DX or OpenGL (or even DX10 on Vista), it's only question of time.

The "Torque" engines are proved to be stabe on many platforms, and as I know (and I'm expecting it by myself for my project) TSE will be ported for Linux also.

don't forget it's still EA.

Fair enough.
I've been out of the loop for awhile, so wasn't sure what the scene was.
